Field Day

Taking place in Victoria Park in Est London on the 19th of August, Field Day is an electronic music based festival headlining artists such as Aphex Twin, Arca, Actress, Bonobo. The festival has sold out every year, and 2023 is expected to be the biggest year to date, so if you love electronic music and want to enjoy East London at its best, make sure to get a ticket before it’s too late!

Wide Awake Festival

The Wide Awake Festival, taking place in Brockwell Park, is an independent festival that aims to bring to London alternative music from emerging artists and bands that the organisers are fond of. Post Punk, Indie, Techno are some of the genres that you’ll hear at Wide Awake, from artists like Alex G, Black Country, New Road, Shygirl. The festival’s line-up has an equal gender split, and the organisers are striving to make the festival more sustainable each year. Focusing on bringing to people exciting and fresh music, Wide Awake celebrates alternative music, music that distinguishes itself from the mainstream scene through originality and novelty, and creates a space where underground music enthusiasts can enjoy their favourite music live. Tickets for the festival’s 2024 edition are on sale now!

Battersea Park in Concert

If you’re not much of a fan of the underground music, but want to delight in the sounds of classical music, London has you covered. Battersea Park in Concert takes place between 26 and 28 August, and the line up for the first and second night is made of the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, while the third night will offer jazz and soul performances.

All Points East Festival

All Points East Festival, like Field Day, also takes places in Victoria Park this August. Here you can come listen to Stormzy, The Strokes, Haim, girl in red, Kehlani. The headline shows diversity in musical genres and the festival’s recorded past attendance of 40.000 people makes it look like people are getting really excited about this festival in the heart of East London.

Waterworks Festival

Taking place in Gunnersbury Park on 16th September, Waterworks Festival brings electronic music from emerging artists. This provides an amazing opportunity to support new artists that you like, and to discover new, exciting music. 

Cosmic Void Festival

Fans of black metal can listen to their favourite music at the Cosmic Void Festival taking place over three days in September. On the 15th it will take place at the O2 Academy Islington, on the 16th is moves to the Electric Ballroom. 

No matter what kind of music you’re into, London offers great opportunities for you to enjoy your favourite music live. The diversity of the music scene makes London one of the best places to discover and enjoy music.
