me doing a sugar craft workshop

sugarcraft

I did a sugarcraft workshop with Anne.  I took this workshop to learn how to make sugarcraft and different ways to do it.  Anne taught me and I learnt that she has a sugar craft shop and she makes wedding cakes.  I made some flowers.

First I rolled out some sugar paste.  I cut out half and dyed it blue.  Anne showed us how to make flowers using a veiner.  You cut the shape out, then put it on the veiner.  You push it down, not to hard else it will crack and not too soft or it won’t have the pattern.  You take it out carefully and leave it in a tray to harden.    I learnt how to make butterflies and how to cover a board in fondant. I loved the activity because I learnt new things
