Regina Spektor Concert

Show

What was the title of the show?

Regina Spektor concert.

Why did you choose to attend this show?

My Mummy first introduced Regina Spektor to me and she has become one of my favourite singers. I didn't listen to her much for a while but lately I started listening to her again. me and my family are a big

fans of her.

Who were the artists and what do they create?

Regina Spektor is an American singer who writes quirky, highly eclectic but always personal music.

What did you hear?

I heard a variety of different songs from her new album "Remember us to life" including "bleeding heart" "older and taller" and many others some of witch were from previous albums. Sometimes she would also speak to the audience.

What was your first impression?

Downstairs it seemed like a café witch it probably was and it had a lift that hummed. and the humming would get more high pitched the higher it got up the building. When the performance started it sounded beautifully amazing. Witch it was.

Did you find anything particularly interesting to you personally?

Yes. I had a pair of binoculars with me and enjoyed seeing what she looked like. Also at the beginning we went to the front to see what the stage looked like and next to were she was sitting was a little table with a cup, a bottle of water and a towel.

What did you learn?

I'm not completely sure of all of the things I learnt but I did learn that music is far more expressive live.

Did you enjoy the experience overall? Why?

I enjoyed it very much because I have been listening to her for so long I almost feel I know her and it was the first concert of hers that I've been to.

Did it make you think about any art form differently?

I think it made me love music more than ever and think it is not only nice to listen to but can be very emotional too.
