BEBE REXHA TOUR 2023 REVIEW

On July 28, 2023, Bebe Rexha, an American pop singer, performed her spectacular concert at the O2 Empire in London. I like Bebe Rexha a lot because she is creative with her music and doesn’t just stick to simple pop music like some pop singers do. I was expecting lots of awesome songs, lighting and choreography. It was even better than that! It started off with a support act, called Lionbabe. Lionbabe are a dance duo, with a female singer and a male DJ. I liked the fact that Bebe Rexha chose one duo as a support act, rather than two solo support acts. I thought that the DJ was very good at the mixing. I liked the singer too, but I thought she was better at dancing than singing. They did very well, I definitely recommend them! About ½ an hour later, Bebe Rexha came on stage. She started with some songs from her new album, “Bebe”, but then sang some of her older songs (about 2017). Then she asked for some volunteers to have a competition. One of them was so much of a Bebe Rexha fan that she had dressed up as her! She also included the audience by doing a vote on which song she sang out of 2 songs (she also gave the audience the option to vote for both, obviously everyone then voted both!). The whole concert was brilliant, from the dancers, to the lighting, to the stage! If you like live music, this is the live gig that you most definitely want to see! The songs were a whole mix of genres, such as R&B, country and just good old pop. The really well-known songs were towards the end. The parts where the audience were included were in the middle. I thought the order of the songs was very good. The best bit was how the lights would sometimes go out when a song finished. That was truly awesome. No, correction, that was beyond awesome, that was PERFECT! If you think you’ve seen an awesome concert before, you haven’t seen anything yet, because this is even better than an “awesome concert”! I knew how good Bebe Rexha was and her awesomeness still shocked me! The only problem with it is that you can’t look away from it! Collaborations are very important for Bebe Rexha’s music, so she sampled the collaborators’ voices and played them. Now isn’t that awesome? Of course not, it was beyond awesome! I would say that the target audience is anyone 12 years old or above. It is great for young people, because it is modern music, but also fun for the older people, because Bebe Rexha has collaborated with singers like Dolly Parton and Snoop Dogg.
