“This challenge was well organised and the staff who supported with us were brilliant. I heartily recommend this to schools who want to develop the STEM leaders of tomorrow.” Bob Duddridge, Teacher, Longitude Explorer 2017 Finalist.
Longitude Explorer Prize has re-launched and we are calling out for the best and boldest ideas that use artificial intelligence technology to make the world a better place, with the chance to win £25,000 for the winning secondary school or youth group.
The Prize is open to secondary schools and youth groups across the UK, to encourage 11-16 year olds to enter their ideas in teams of 2-5. Teams and teachers have access to learning materials and real examples of artificial intelligence to help kick-start their creative thinking and develop their ideas.
To get started, check out the information pack and utilise these free activity plans to help get your class or group engaged: https://longitudeexplorer.challenges.org/learning-activities/
It is free to enter and teams will be provided with support throughout, however, if you have any questions about how you can take part please see our FAQ's or email [email protected]
