Talent 25 Programme Assistant

Talent 25 is a long-term action research programme and a partnership between Arts Council England and De Montfort University.

Its vision is to explore the vital points of intervention in a child's life, which ensures that all individuals have a wide range of cultural experiences and opportunities to unearth their creative talent. The project is to commence its next phase of activities in April 2024.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide efficient and effective administrative support for our developing research programme. You must be able to use your initiative, work as part of a team, and have the ability to cope in a challenging environment. A high level of confidentiality is also required. This role is part time (18.5 hours per week) therefore, the salary shown will be pro-rata'd.

They are looking for an individual with experience in managing administrative processes and working independently with minimal supervision. They are especially interested in candidates with excellent organisational skills, including sound time management and a proven ability to multi-task, prioritise their workload, cope under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. You will have the ability to work cooperatively and sustainably with colleagues, external partners and diverse families. You will be a people-focused, positive thinker and self-motivator who is able to take personal responsibility. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective team member, as well as your own initiative and ability to establish strong working relationships with research participants, the Talent 25 team, and stakeholders.
