Climate Spring are looking for a motivated and passionate Development Coordinator to join their team.

Development coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of their team for a unique non-profit development fund focused on commercial scripted projects that address the climate crisis. This is a supporting role on a part time basis, working remotely. There is a potential for the role to grow into a full time, development role at a future date.

Job Requirements

  • Passion for climate and environmental issues
  • Interest in broadcasting and the media industry.
  • Experience working in TV or film
  • Ability to use IT proficiently, including Google products and Zoom.
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Experience administering projects or programmes
  • Experience of handling confidential and/or controversial information with tact and sensitivity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a wide variety of internal and external colleagues and contributors.
  • Able to work as a member of a team and work in a confident and collaborative way.
  • Manage positive working relationships with colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

  • To coordinate the delivery of our talent development scheme, Hot House 2024
  • To coordinate the delivery of our script editor training scheme
  • Manage any script submissions on the system.
  • Maintain a database of Writers and contact lists.
  • To provide support to the creative and executive team as a whole, including reading submissions and general research.
  • To provide administrative / production support to the team as required, including booking of venues, transport etc.
  • To coordinate team meetings
  • To provide diary management for the Executive Director
  • To champion talent and diversity in all aspects of our work.
