Little Wander is a comedy production company which creates festivals, tours, live events, TV, radio and podcasts. This role is for an assistant producer to join our audio department. The successful candidate will be Welsh or Wales-based.
This is a 12-month entry-level placement, working 4 days a week on radio and podcasts.
They have a growing network of comedy podcasts, and make a range of programmes for BBC Radio including stand-up, sitcom, documentary and panel shows.
Main responsibilities will include the planning, recording and editing of our existing radio shows and podcasts, plus contributing to and developing new audio ideas.
Throughout the traineeship, the Assistant Producer will be mentored by the Audio Department Manager at Little Wander to develop a range of production skills. It's an entry-level position for a creative and driven producer at the start of their audio career.
This role is a remote working position with some face-to-face meetings and on-location projects, including studio-based recordings and comedy festivals.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable interest in UK comedy.
