Throughout 2023-24, The Story Museum is running a year-long season entitled Stories to Save the World. Alongside a new exhibition, exploring positive climate action through a story-based experience, we are offering a host of creative activities to encourage children and young people to connect with the natural world and explore the role of story in dreaming and creating a better future.
In Sep-Nov 2023 we are collaborating with the Humanities Cultural Programme’s Everything is Connected Season to commission three high profile CYP authors to create new inspiring short to inspire the next generation to get writing and dreaming of a better future. The confirmed authors are Patience Agbabi, Piers Torday and Sita Brahmachari.
Young people will be encouraged to write their own story and to send it to The Story Museum where it will form part of a legacy collection. Stories should be submitted to [email protected] by Saturday 11th November. A selection of stories will be selected to be performed at The Story Museum on Saturday 25th November at a public celebratory event sharing and showcasing the stories.
