Technical Apprenticeships at Delfont Mackintosh Theatres are hands-on working roles, learning lighting, sound, stage, automation and video skills for a fixed period. The roles lead to a nationally recognised Level 3 Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship qualification, whilst working with some of the most eminent industry professionals in the country. As part of your training you will also achieve the ABTT Bronze award- an industry recognised qualification in technical theatre.

Your work is divided between 80% 'on the job' learning in a professional working environment, and 20% college learning and course work which you are given dedicated study time for each week. The post is for 24 months and typically at about 18 months in you will enter the assessment process to gain the qualification which we and the college support you with.
