Engagement Assistant

The Engagement Assistant will support the delivery of our broad and varied Engagement programme including Bristol Old Vic Young Company. Engagement is at the heart of Bristol Old Vic's programme and aims to share the power and potential of theatre with young people, adults and communities across Bristol, giving as many people as possible the chance to make, experience and be inspired by theatre. The role will assist the team in delivering our Young Company programme and productions as well as working on a range of other projects in the community. The successful candidate will

• An interest in theatre, the arts and working with people and young people
• Good written and verbal communication skills and organisational skills
• A team player, capable of working under your own initiative when required.
• Be able to prioritize your workload to account for multiple projects and busy periods
• Be personable, adaptable, kind and flexible and willing to work on evenings and weekends occasionally if required
