Marketing Assistant Role

The Albany Theatre in Coventry is growing and they are looking for a new Marketing Assistant!

Marketing Assistant Role

By this time next year they will have opened four new and refurbished studio/flexible spaces in addition to their main house. Their popularity and reputation is growing, and their team needs to grow too. They have excellent, energetic and committed people who work brilliantly together. Now they seek a Marketing Assistant to help deliver even greater success.

The Marketing Assistant is part of small marketing team comprising two assistants and a manager. The assistants will both help deliver the relevant elements of the Albany's Business and Action Plan, implementing marketing and sales plans for the theatre.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience and a track record of success. They will be a hard-worker, committed to excellence and the highest standards in all areas. We anticipate that they will come from an Arts Marketing background, but excellence in another branch of sales marketing could easily transfer. For someone looking for a wider range of opportunity and a lot more excitement this could be exactly what they are looking for.

The Albany is established as a key element of the legacy of Coventry’s Year as City of Culture. It is a great place to work and is characterised by its great team. So, all in all, this is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation that is making a difference in the city!

The Albany Theatre Trust is an equal opportunities employer. They welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age and in particular they encourage applications from members of groups in our community that are not well represented in arts administration.

Please contact David Meredith for details of how to apply – [email protected]

The closing date is Wednesday March 16th, 2022 but they will be reviewing applications as they come in.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 24th/Friday 25th March 2022, or earlier.
