The Voice Winter Film Festival is coming back, and submissions are now open until December 23. We cannot wait to see what you have all created!
Last year, we hosted our second Winter Film Festival, featuring films from budding filmmakers all over the country during the winter seasons. After its success, we are BACK for another winter, and we want your submissions.
Film is such a great way for artists to express themselves, and here at Voice, we are passionate about giving young people the platform to express their creativity.
The theme this year is ‘Difference’ and you are free to interpret this as you see fit. Think of all the things that make us different from our fellow humans and celebrate those differences.
A few things to note:
We are looking for short films with a particular interest in the socially relevant, those that focus on young people or explore under-represented points of view. These films should be a max of 20 minutes and be available to view on YouTube or Vimeo.
The deadline for submissions will be December 23, and if your film is chosen, we will host it on our homepage for a week and promote it on our social channels.
Voice reaches thousands of young people and creative organisations every month, so we are a great platform to help you get your work noticed!
To be considered, please send your submissions to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Voice Winter Film Festival’. Please include a link to your video and up to 100 words outlining what it’s about, and an image of yourself that is 4MB or under in size.
We aim to get back to you within a week of submission to tell you if you have succeeded.
Good luck, and we look forward to seeing what you have created!
