West End Live 2019...in photos

Indulge yourself in a series of photos from West End Live 2019!

As a West End Live first-timer, I have to confess I wasn't quite sure what to expect? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love musicals and I even spent most of my childhood and teenage life at an Italia Conti Associates performing them year on year. However, this past year I've been so submerged in the Music Industry that I had forgot just how much I love them. I'm glad to say West End Live bought my inner musical theatre nerd back to life.

Besides the myriad of West End shows that cross the stage over the weekend, it was something about the atmosphere of the people there that also made the weekend for me. With Pimm's vans, glitter on every face as far as the eye could see and just an air of kindness about the air, it's safe to say that the fans are truly what make West End Live the spectacle that it is year on year.

I'm delighted to tell anyone who might not think that musicals are really their 'thing' to also head down next year...contrary to popular opinion the stage doesn't only host musicals. In fact, there was a wide selection of dance displays, magic tricks and even a spot of sing-along performances to indulge in. There is definitely something there for everyone!

If I've peaked your interest, without further ado I hope you enjoy scrolling through a bunch of photos from the weekend to see what it's all about...

I'm based in London and currently intern at an artist and tour management company with offices in Metropolis Studios and love writing for Voice whenever I can...
