Quentin Blake Strikes Again

Children's favourite artist Quentin Blake's work found at the Lighthouse Art and Entertainment Centre in Poole.

Quentin Blake's drawings are found in children's books by Roald Dahl.  You can notice his drawings as scruffy-looking but somehow they look amazing.

One of my favorite drawings is one in Revolting Rhymes of the scary-looking wolf reading to the children.  At first, I did not want to go to the exhibition but when I got there seeing all his drawings was super cool.  You also got to see the paint pots he used in a glass box.  I was quite surprised at how big the room was because it was fairly big but filled with only his work.

One of the paintings he did was of some children ice-skating, holding lanterns and for the light he did wet-on-wet which was very impressive.  My most favourite drawing was of two kids in a submarine.  At the end, I was inspired to do some water-colours.
