Celebrated musician Kayleigh, a TrinityTalent artist, embarked on her musical journey at the age of four. Now, at 17, she has accomplished Grade 5 Vocals, triumphing over significant personal challenges in the process. Diagnosed with a CpG blood infection nine months prior to her exam, Kayleigh faced a daunting journey of voice loss, tone depletion, and structural challenges. Enduring six months of hospital visits, she described the ordeal as a true test of resilience.
The support of her singing teacher, Steve Lowndes, proved instrumental in Kayleigh's recovery. Even after she concluded her lessons, he continued to champion her rebuilding process. Completing the Trinity exam was more than a qualification; it symbolised a personal triumph over adversity.
For Kayleigh, the exam served as a motivational beacon, representing a meaningful achievement rather than a mere certificate. It became a foundation upon which she could build and push herself forward. Her newfound confidence and motivation, fueled by the accomplishment, have set her on a path towards future aspirations.
Drawing creative inspiration from Demi Lovato and Amy Winehouse, Kayleigh dreams of collaborating with Adele. She plans to expand her musical presence, seeking more gigs and returning to songwriting. Encouraging others to consider a Trinity music exam, Kayleigh attests to its structured and accessible process, emphasizing that it has propelled her beyond her goals, proving that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. In her own words: "Practice, then go ahead and do it."
