Voice Showcase 2024

Community: Your place in the world

Voice Magazine is delighted to announce the return of the Voice Showcase.

For 2024 our theme is Community: Your place in the world

We are exploring what community means and how you represent it. Community is more than just a place you live; it's the feeling of belonging, the shared experiences, and the connections that shape who we are.

MEET THE JUDGES

Amy Clewlow is an Illustrator, Designer and Editor from the West Midlands. She has worked as a Designer for Charity organizations and Publications in the public sector as well as her independent work and collaborations with fellow artists and creatives.

Here's what they had to say on the submissions:

"The submissions for this year's Voice Showcase will be a hard group to choose a winner for, every piece oozes personality and a depth of meaning that captivates me as a judge. I'm blown away by the variety of mediums and how each candidate really puts themselves forward in each piece. All the participants should be so proud of their work and anyone looking for their next source of inspiration I highly recommend taking a look."

- Amy

"It was a delight to judge this year's Summer Showcase, experiencing entries that encompassed art and ideas across just about every different type of media. The theme of community at the heart of the competition meant for some impressively personal entries, showing how creativity and art can help people find their place in the world. This sense of community is something I'm very keen to foster as Voice Magazine's new editor, so delving headfirst into these brilliant works from emerging creative voices was a great way to get started.

- Tom
