‘The Photography Masterclass’
I believe that public art is too abstract, strange and uninspiring for the general public.
I went to the Ferrers Center home for arts and crafts in Staunton Harold north Leicestershire. I looked at the work of three artists while I was there
We created a piece of mixed media artwork using different shapes cut out from paper and different materials like ribbons, fabrics and paper. It has different colours and textures all over the piece.
I was Inspired by David Hockney and Dawn Mococia.
I did a mixed media portrait

No, its Not just watercolours, i wanted to add some of my own skills to the piece and make it my own, I wanted to make it a mixed media piece with as many different medias as possible. So yes, lots of mixed media.

I was creating a self portrait of my personality so I took photos of items in my room so it could be a part of my self portrait.

My inspiration was David Hockney and he often did self portraits using photography, So i decided to do a self portrait of myself, but of my personality a bedroom style and my different hobbies.
I used photography, watercolour painting, collage and scrap booking techniques all in one piece of art.
