View BlogThis is my unit 1 part D Arts Issue. I focused on body image stereotypes throughout the performing arts industry, this includes dance, drama and modelling, and how these reflect on upcoming generations. Also looking into the different weight and height restrictions there are throughout company's and auditions and why this is the case.

I believe everyone should have the same opportunity as each other no matter what their gender is. Well done this is a really interesting article to read and a lot of though and research has gone into it and I enjoyed reading it!!

Should the Age-Rating system change? by Reuben JagerThis is a really good piece of work which is also very interesting! A lot of thought and research has been put into it as well, and I think your opinions throughout this arts issue are well written and I agree with what you are saying. Especially with the parent situation, all parents should teach there children what is right and what is wrong within watching films that are overaged for example, otherwise how else will they learn?

Why are theatre audiences so ill-mannered? by Chloe PackmanThis is a great article that has been well thought about and structured and I totally agree with what your are saying! This issue also bugs me a lot from previous experiences throughout performing in assemblies, people need to think before they act as it can be very distracting for the people who are performing. Whether you like the performances/shows or not, people need to think about their actions and show some respect!
This was a great article to read and it was good to put your own experiences and opinions in there, well done :))))

Well done Lucy, this is a great arts issue! Dance and drama give students a wider future and are able to learn a lot of things that you can't always learn within the academic subjects. I just wish parents and people could see this!
