Is Classical Music just too 'boring' for the younger generation?
Orchestras across the country have been trying out schemes to encourage a younger audience into the concert hall and have experienced varied success. Whilst working at the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra I learnt a lot about audience development and been researching the ways in which it can be improved.

Young Music Event Manager's Introduction Event
On the 20th of February 2018 I attended a music showcase event, that was run by Creative Arts East, with a group of Year Nines and Tens from my school. It was a very interesting day and it was great to be able to both see groups perform and also take workshops with them.
