The Breakout Club returns for a spring special in partnership with Independent Venue Week, showcasing the finest acts from MMC’s artist development programme CICAS®.

In this past year, theatre has seen more D/deaf actors take to the stage in main roles than ever before, including a D/deaf actor understudying for a hearing actor.

I saw Our Country’s Good, directed by Fiona Buffini, on press night at the Crucible in Sheffield. I really enjoyed the experience of seeing such a wide range of people on stage.
