Crafts Council Supporter

Crafts Council is committed to supporting young people to develop making skills and experience craft. Our vision is that every child has a chance to discover their practical abilities, develop their creative talents, and become a maker of the future. This vision is rooted in the knowledge that craft skills lead to diverse careers and creative satisfaction throughout life. We run a range of programmes, including: Craft Club is a national campaign that champions craft groups in schools, galleries, libraries and anywhere else you can bring people together to share craft skills. We will help you to find a local Craft Club to join, or to set up a Craft Club yourself! Make:Shift:Do is an annual nationwide programme of craft and innovation workshops. It is an opportunity for everyone in the UK to meet the next generation of makers and to try their hand at a new craft, from 3D printing to laser-cutting or CNC milling. You can visit our exhibitions across the UK and learn about makers on our online directory and collections online. We can advise on crafts-based Arts Award activity at all levels.
