David Cox at Worcester City Gallery

The landscape art of David Cox really came to life in this exhibition.

David Cox at Worcester City Gallery

Worcester City Art Gallery's David Cox exhibition was an interesting showcase of his landscapes from the 19th century. There was lots of his well-known pieces being shown and, if you live in the midlands, it is enjoyable to be able to recognise some of the places he painted. Also there were paintings by John Constable and JMW Turner, whose images brought parts of Britain to life. I would definitely recommend going to see this exhibition if you paint in watercolours, like landscape paintings or you just love David Cox, as some rarely seen, famous landscapes are on show. The exhibition does not finish until the 3rd June, so you have plenty of time!

Oh no....I didn't realise this exhibition was showing. Can't believe I've missed it! I must remember to check out these reviews more often. Sounds like I missed an interesting show.
