Wondrous kaleidoscopes create a magical world for the audience.

The film revolves around Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as he learns about the mystic arts of the sorcerers, eventually having to rise to the challenge of facing Dormammu, ruler of the Dark Dimension, who is coming to devour the earth.

The film uses excellent special effects to realise the magic that the sorcerers use. This can be seen in the Firework-like magic performed by the sorcerers, and the kaleidoscopic shattered glass style of the mirror dimension.

The film works brilliantly, showing the audience realistic characterisation in Strange, and its storyline is well written and fantastically acted. I would recommend this film to anybody thinking of watching it, as it draws in the viewer and has an engaging and enjoyable plot, plus realistic special effects.

I would rate this film as a 5 star must watch experience for everyone from children to adults.
