REVIEW OF SPIDERMAN INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE
I like Spider-Man Into The Spider Verse because I like comic books and the film is done in a very comic book-like way. You can see how the characters and the background are coloured in with individual dots like how comic books are printed.
I think the storyline is good because it’s not predictable or full of plotholes, and I think the story is done quite well. I think the characters are funny and quirky and I like the way that they move. Because the film is animated they can do things with the characters that you can’t do with live action, and that’s one of my favourite things about animated movies. I feel like it’s what really separates them from live action ones.
The story is not boring and had me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I think the Idea of different spider-men or women from other dimensions is a cool idea. The only negative thing about this film that I can think of is how some scenes are quite cringy like the scene when Miles is in school and is talking to Gwen or when they are impersonating waiters. I realize that this is a personal opinion though and others might not find those parts cringy like I do.
I would recommend it to around 10 - 15 year olds. I think that all round Spider-Man Into The Spider Verse is a really good film and I enjoyed it a lot.
