Thor:Ragnarok

This will be a review of Thor: Ragnarok starring Chris Hemsworth. In this review I will be stating my opinion of Thor's journey in self discovery amidst harsh realisation and heartbreak.

I really enjoyed Thor: Ragnarök. I think it added a comedic spin to the Asgardian realm because everything is usually so serious when It comes to Thor.

The beginning of the movie sets the entire mood especially when Thor was speaking to the skeleton you really begin to tell this movie is going to be…different.

My favourite character is Korg, the rock monster. He has a quaint, friendly and casual tone of speech and I absolutely fall to pieces whenever he says “Hey, man.”

Another aspect of the movie that I love is when Hela tells us of her and Odin’s conquest across the nine-realms. It shines a bright light on both characters as Hela was imprisoned by Odin (her father) for no reason as she deemed it.

The movie shows a new side to Thor that we have never seen before. It shows Thor’s perseverance, as although his father is dead, he still finds it in himself to do the right thing for the sake of his people and I find this quite admirable.

In this film I have learnt that our strength comes from those we love, people around us and not from material possessions.

I would really recommend this movie to anyone in need of a quick throwback after the saddening events of Endgame.

I know I did!
