Ukrainian pop songstress Delena has returned with the catchy ‘S.O.S’ to bring some colour into summer 2020. The smooth production features a fluid Daft Punk-esque bassline, melodic keyboards and marching drums, all of which complement Delena’s powerful lead vocal.
“This is just like something you do, pull me back as soon as we’re through” she sings as the bright electric guitar pours out like a Calvin Harris radio hit (an interesting collaboration that would be!)
Producers Paul Harris (Dirty Vegas) and Toby Scott (Little Mix, Girls Aloud and Kaiser Chiefs) have really helped to craft the perfect slice of sunshine pop (a side note - the track was actually recorded in both London and Brighton) whilst allowing Delena to not only keep the song’s urgency but also her unadulterated female defiance.
