Jonny Ong releases the psychedelic ode to human emotion - 'Isolation'

Jonny Ong has released 'Isolation', his psychedelic ode to the full spectrum of human emotion. Released during COVID-19, this song is instantaneously relatable, at times painful but always filled with beatific gratitude at the ability to feel.

‘Isolation’ sees Ong making use of the unusual instrumentation he has come to be known for - the handpan. This is something he picked up in Amsterdam after seeing a busker playing one. It brings an otherworldly tone to his music, which is already full of influences from his home country of Singapore.

Taking inspiration mostly from the psychedelic movement of the late sixties, this song is the perfect example of Jonny’s songwriting talent and a brilliant introduction to this exciting new name on the psychedelia scene.
