Following on from her massive success with her double A-side release in January, Sasha Siem has returned with ‘Flower Flower’, an exultant celebration of love and the mental clarity that comes with it.
This jubilant song is matched with a stunning visual of a couple dancing, who are made out of flowers. The intertwined couple dances throughout the duration of the song, interspersed with butterflies that float across the screen, all composed of a floral visual. The dancing is beautiful to watch - pure joy is conveyed and the patterned visual means that the universality of the experience of love is highlighted and revered.
Sasha perfectly encapsulates the range of emotions that a pure, true love can lead to - lucidity, calm, creativity, joy and flow. Her music sounds, as ever, organic and serene - but, in this case, it’s not just the songwriting that leads to relaxation.
The song itself, like Siem’s other releases from upcoming album Holy, was recorded in the controversial Love Frequency (432Hz). This means that listening to this collection of music will trigger a chemical reaction, causing listeners’ bodies to physically relax as the music washes over them. Combining this cutting edge metaphysical and musical research with Sasha’s exquisite songwriting talents in the match made in heaven which resulted in this latest track.
