It’s that time of year where getting out of the house is really hard. But not to worry, Giulia’s new track ‘Trippin’ will take you elsewhere… to outer space.
Her latest offering is but the first in a triptych of releases. Set in space, we see our intrepid explorer navigating planets, stars and sparkling star signs in what appears to be a race for her life. Giulia is not fazed, however, and takes to the skies with all the confidence of a superstar in the making.
The song itself can stand alone as a work of art in its own right. The verses are delightfully sultry, and the bridge builds to the chorus in what is so rare to come across these days - a well crafted pop song. When the chorus kicks in, it’s the type of music you’d hear during a 5am afterparty. Both chilled out but with enough beat to keep it going, this song really must be heard to be believed.
This is truly pop perfection, something with inspired ideas behind it, creativity in the songwriting and a crazy video idea - all fronted by someone with the confidence to pull it off. With the second and third parts still to come, there’s only one more question to ask Giulia - what’s next?
