It’s safe to say that British sibling pair The Luck have had a pretty busy year so far. Riding
high after the release of their breakout album ‘Ready to Run’ and having garnered national
attention with ‘The Luck and Friends’ (a virtual festival that was live-streamed globally on
Twitch to over 560k unique viewers), Max and Esmay Luck are now hoping to reach and
exceed their previous successes with the release of ‘Vertigo’, an empowering single that
encourages us to challenge and conquer our fears.
Taken from their new album ‘Ready to Run’ (which has already reached #1 in the UK
Country iTunes chart), ‘Vertigo’ once again, showcases the vocal dexterity and lyrical
flexibility of this sibling pair, whilst the album as a whole traverses challenging subject
matters, such as tackling inner demons, loss, love and uncertainty. Max and Esmay deal with
these issues sensitively and deftly, and the collection of songs showcases the pair’s musical
prowess in a succinct offering.
Starting with a dynamic guitar riff and powerful drum beat, the single is quickly taken up a
notch with the inclusion of Max’s beautiful and yet commanding vocals. Esmay soon joins
the mix and her voice, equal parts ethereal and captivating, is the perfect addition to this
motivational anthem.
So, what’s next for The Luck? Well, With the recent release of ‘Vertigo’ now under the pairs
belts, a small matter of a supporting tour alongside Wildwood Kin on their national tour
later this year all lay in the pipeline for this sibling pair.
