The Blue Dot festival review

A review of The Blue Dot festivals art during performances and the sensory benefits that came with it.

The Blue Dot festival review

On 19 July I attended the blue dot festival, which was space theme music festival based at the Jordvell telescope near Manchester. The art forms there was music and sensory lighting that was incorporated to the theme, as well as a 3D show along with the 90s electronic musicians Kraftwerk.

I attended the first you festivals however they weren’t on the scale of this because it is growing in popularity every year. The music by far was my favourite thing there, New Order headlined and I also discovered new bands such as the space rock band henge. The only thing I disliked was the loudness at night but I think I just wanted to sleep. Also I think that the range of activities based on art could’ve been improved.

This experience inspired me to incorporate more visuals into my photography and to look at the world differently and In addition I deafly notice of us enjoying their time particularly when the world was playing because the set, lighting and sound was stunning and I’d recommend the festival to anyone.
