!Club Tropicana Review!

Wow I don’t know how to describe this night without using the word amazing! So for part C the arts event review, my family and I were lucky enough to get tickets to see the new Club Tropicana Musical in Sheffield.

I wanted to go to this specific show because all my family love the 80s music, especially the song Club Tropicana. We’ve always wondered what the song is originally about, but this musical really cleared this up and told the whole story of the song so now we understand. For example before watching this musical, I didn’t even know that the Club Tropicana was an actual hotel!

I absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of the musical, it was so uplifting and fascinating. Even the outfits were indescribable they were exactly like the 80s, so bright n colourful, big n puffy, even beachy they were unreal! The dancing was definitely my favourite part though as they were so in sync, it actually confused me how they could be so quick as well. (You can see all the videos on the link). Overall the Club Tropicana Musical was fantastic, I would definitely go see it again maybe even a few times.

As you can see in the photo of me I look so exited and happy because I genuinely was. I felt so creative when I came out of the theatre as though I could do anything! So for this reason I would give this musical 4.5 out of 5 hearts. If there were more songs that I knew it would have definitely been a 5. What I mean by this is that yes most of the songs were such a good choice, but there were some songs I didn’t like at all they could’ve chose better ones really. Other than that little constructive criticism comment I loved it so I really recommend the Club Tropicana musical to anyone of all ages!
