Mary Poppins Returns

On the 26th of December I went with my family to see “Mary Poppins returns” at Vue cinema in Leamington.

I enjoyed it, it’s basically a sequel to the  first film, (Mary Poppins), so I would recommend watching the first film before watching the new one.

It’s about Jane and Michael Banks, and Michael’s children, (John, Annabelle & George), and their adventure with Mary Poppins.
The new manager at the bank wants to sell the Banks family home.
They have replaced the chimney sweeps for lamp lighters.  Mary Poppins is friends with Jack, one of the lamp lighters.
Interestingly I found out that Dick Van Dyke who was a main character from the first film is also a character in second film.
A very entertaining film which kept me glued throughout.

    Hi Archie!

I've yet to see the new Mary Poppins film, but it definitely sounds interesting! Have you seen the first film? How did these two compare? And which one did you like better?
