It was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to all ages. The music event, included an international soprano Emma Ventris, a harp orchestra, professional musicians (including a pianist and clarinettist) and talented young students at my school, who sang and played instruments such as the piano flute and cello. I have seen local events like this before and will definitely see more in the future.
I liked it because it involved many people of all ages showcasing their talent and was set up so that it ran smoothly. I found the music was performed to a high standard and I learnt about instruments that perform well together due to hearing all of groups that performed, for example; the piano and clarinet or the flute and cello. I also learnt that whilst the set up wasn't the most extravagant, this didn't take away the wow factor of the music or make the music seem less impressive. My only dislike was the lighting as it did have a few malfunctions which I found was distracting me from the music. I would recommend local events to people of all ages as they are very family friendly; you could even get involved.
