One my favourite video's is Shutdown by Skepta because it has really good lyrics.
The video starts with Skepta and his crew being filmed at the Barbican in London. The location is good because it looks grimy and urban and it suits the track really well. It then shows him rapping fast to the song with his crew. It has a really good atmosphere because it creates a feeling that they are all dancing and partying to the song. I like that the beat sounds slow but the rapping is really fast. His style is in between Grime and Dubstep.
The video has a has a tongue in cheek part where it has a posh woman's voice saying that "there were a bunch of black males dancing aggressively onstage, and it made me feel intimidated". I think this is a reference to black culture being looked at as aggressive.
I think the video works really well because it makes you want to join in with them and enjoy the moment.
