Jack Tyson-Charles Band: Community in Diversity Festival

It is a review for my silver award

Jack Tyson-Charles Band: Community in Diversity Festival

The performance was in Brixton, on the 16th of April. The band consists of a guitar, bass guitar, piano and a drum kit player. I liked the performance because each percussionist improvised. I therefore didn't want it to finish. It would be even better if the band had interacts with the audience more, like get to them to dance or sing something specific. I would recommend it to a kid because you could easily understand what the singer was saying. I learnt that you can play the drum kit with not just a stick, but with a brush. I also saw that you can play a shaker while playing the drum kit.

On the same day that the Jack Tyson-Charles Band played, I performed with 'Maracatu Estrela de Norte'. We play traditional Brazilian percussion music which has its roots in African religion.
