With an entire show devoted to making his audience feel good, we watched as time after time, he did things people shouldn't be able to do. He got us talking to people we didn't know and making friends with each other - which was lovely - all the while reading people in a way that I've never seen someone else do before. The whole audience spent a fair amount of time in shocked silence, literally not believing their eyes, and I was no different.
Doug's show is daring, fun and extremely impressive, but is hard to write about without giving anything away! If you're looking to see a show where you spend a lot of your time staring in disbelief at what has just happened, then this is the show for you. The best part was that he got the audience to do a lot of the work, so it looked like it was them guessing these crazy things, not him, which confused everyone more.
This is definitely an extraordinary show and if you don't believe someone can control what people choose when given a choice or read what someone is thinking, then you need to see this show. Doug will prove you wrong.
