Starman

David Bowie could never receive a more fitting tribute to his life and works.

Starman

Boasting flamboyance, 1970's glam rock nostalgia and fantastic musicianship is Sven Ratzke, coming all the way from the Netherlands to Edinburgh in order to give us the best of Bowie.

Of course, it wasn't just a playlist of songs - it had to be something much more, and so Ratzke made perfect use of excellent and awe-inspiring spoken-word storytelling in order to place the audience in a fantasy world filled with drugs, partying, youth, and pure happiness.

And if you want my opinion, I was very happy. Bowie became the idol of the 70's glam era, and to see that replicated in the 21st Century was a beauty to behold. The lead singer had the persona and voice to go with that, and I fell in love with the performance.

I can't give this show anymore praise - You. Have. To. See. This. Show!
