Disney Dream World at Christmas

What? Disney is at Christmas?!

Disney Dream World at Christmas

Last Christmas I experienced something short of a wonder. There was lights, sound and music that filled the air when the show started, the show being the firework display in Florida, Disney World. From where I was standing, I could barely see anything. But once things happened in the air, all I could do was tilt my head back and gawp at what I saw. The explosions of light and sound fitted perfectly with the music, whilst a projector beamed clips of famous Disney movies. It all worked so well, there were stands hidden amongst the crowd, offering light swords to any child or parent that seemed like they deserved it. Everything seemed perfect, and even I managed to relax and not focus on anything but what was in front of me: beauty in the form of light. There seemed to be an almost 3D experience, the surround sound being excellent. There was so much going on! But, the worst part seemed to be when it finished, not because it was over, but because you had to somehow escape the chaos that followed. It was so dark, and everyone seemed to be paralysed from the bright lights that had sent everyone into a state of dream. There was no organisation, and no one seemed to know where to go. That was the first time I ever thought I might actually lose myself under a stampede. But after that, I think it was ok, but I was so exhausted, anything was ok.
