David Jones: Vision and Memory

I thought that the art exhibition I visited was good because it showed paintings throughout his life, so you could see his style developing.

However I thought that some pictures were not as good because they weren't completely 'filled in' and personally I don't like that style.

I would definitely recommend it because there were a lot of different styles there and it gave information about each painting and why he painted it. However you couldn't take pictures which was a bit irritating.

From this I learnt that throughout an artists life their style can change completely. Also that some artists like drawing certain things e.g in this exhibit I saw that he took to including trees a lot in his work.
