I went to the Lightbox in Woking, Surrey and the exhibition that was taking place was the 'Quentin Blake Exhibition'. Inside the lightbox there were various photo frames with some of Quentin's drawings. It was really cool seeing the characters from the books that i was reading. I expect they might be originals drawn by Quentin Blake himself! It was a great experience. There was also a short film at the end of the 'tour'. It was a film about how Quentin draws his pictures. This was fascinating because he mentioned in the video that Quentin would try about 20 times on each drawing. That meant drawing it and rubbing it out again around 20 times!!! As i walked back to the exit I had another look at the drawings and realised how many tries Quentin would have to go through, just to make that little drawing perfect! Overall, I enjoyed it!
