On the 14th January 2016 we went to a showcase event in Norwich at the Garage. We were there to see three different performers. The graffiti classics, Richard Navarro and the Acafellas. Each a different genre to the next.

The first group we saw perform were the Acafellas. They are a 6 piece group that (as the name hints) perform a Capella. They are open to wide variety of genres. When they performed to us they sung Bob Marleys 'Three little birds' and Robin Thickes 'Blurred lines' to name but a few. Three of the performers had vey good stage presence and managed to captivate the audience with ease. The other three however seemed to be a bit more reserved. However overall the performance was very entertaining. I was singing along!

The second group we saw perform were a group called the Graffiti Classics. Their main aim is to make classical music enjoyable and funny. From the very beginning each performer played amazingly, ant slip ups were inconsequential. Together their stage presence was amazing, they kept us entertained and in a world of comedy. They were truly very enjoyable and friendly to all ages. They called for audience participation and the crowd willingly took part.

The last person to perform was Richard Navarro, he is a singer songwriter with an amazing voice. He seemed more shy when he introduced himself but blew us away with his first song which i believe was 'seabirds'. He performed a few more original songs and then he began with a song called 'carry'. This song was by far my favourite with a catchy melody and beautiful lyrics. His presence on stage wasn't as outstanding as the other groups but his performance was still seriously good and a privilege to watch.

It was overall an amazing thing to watch and i would recommend any one of these acts to everyone.
