Where did we go?
On February 14th 2015, we went on a music trip to the Roundhouse, Camden, where many artists have performed, such as; Chase & Status, Jay Z and Ronnie Size. We stopped off at Camden market for lunch and a look around. We came across "cyber dog" which was effectively an aluminous clothing shop/rave. It was incredible. Probably the greatest place I have ever been, at this time I was only looking forward to an even better time at the Roundhouse.
What was the roundhouse like?
The roundhouse was amazing. It was full of welcoming staff that were pleased and proud of where they work. It had dozens of rooms, which had instruments to hire out for only a pound! They had a few mock radio station studios, a few recording studios, and a sweet of IMacs, which were packed with the latest music software. But the best part was the main stage. Just knowing that artists such as Jay Z, Chase and Status and Tinnie Tempah had stood up there was incredible. The venue was very intimate; it felt like no matter who had performed up there, it would be an incredible atmosphere. It would be a dream to go and see a drum and bass artist such as; DJ Alpha, DJ Hype, DJ Guv, Macky-Gee and so on.
What was the market like?
The market was one of the most memorable times of my life. It was outstandingly good fun to walk around. But the highlight, apart from my lamb donor kebab (which was truly memorizing), was the shop – Cyber Dog. I couldn't believe how fun it was. As soon as you walked in, it was effectively a techno rave, with a huge public address system; I couldn't help but have a little rave session myself.
To conclude;
Camden was a fantastic place, and I shall hopefully go to see an artist in the future at the roundhouse.
I have decided to share my review on the arts award voice, for people to read and comment on.
