Bicycle Review By Luke Furmage

The Film bicycle was produced By Pip Piper and Blue hippo media and directed by Michael B. Clifford. back in 2014 which Tells of the story of Biking and what having and Owning a bicycle means to them. the film tells the story of why bicycles where so popular and follows the story of Dannielle Khan as she wins and Competes in track Bike Racing.

the film follows the dev elopement of the Bicycle and where it start starting form 1871 with eh penny farthing and then following it development and changes over the years. and pointed out how the bicycle was invented in the UK and how its development is still to this day in England. and more acuractly Convertery(or at least it used to)

The FIlm did an exsilent Job on showing off the Individual story's of bicycles and how far they have come over the years. I would like to focus on two Different Moments in the FIlm that really Got me on the edge of my seat. which where the 1992 Olympics final. where Chris and his bike the Lotus Brock the world record... Twice. The film due to Time and Limitations because of not being able to get the correct footage and audio was had to been recreated with animation and a replica of the audio done by the same name that did the commentary. It looks beautiful as the mixture of the music and the visuals and the Interviews makes this small section Incredible Compelling to watch. the Style of which the animation is show is amazing as well it is able to capture the essences of what was going on incredible well. it mixes 2D animation with Something that looks old as people talk about what happened with the commentary as well making the action seem more Intense and Engaging.

the second moment that was really Powerful to me was the Bit with Michael teaching his Daughter to ride a bicycle it was such a great moment to end the film on. after the Constant talk on how Bicycles have changed the world and People in general it seemed to have hammered the point home on how this has become a Very important Part of the worlds eco system and how it effects and is seen By everyone of all walks of Life. for small Kids to Full Grown Adults. its just a moment that allows everything in the Film to come full circle back to the main point of the film that bicycles still matter and are Very much important in everyones life. it made me super happy at the end for the film to end on such a quiet Moment compared to the rest of the film that was not trying to give us lots of information but just trying to be their as an Emotion rather then Information which made the film end better in my Opinion.

Over all i really Enjoyed Bicycle and all that it represented and showed off about the Bicycle Industry and the personal story's that it shared with its audience. it was a very interesting watch and something that i would be willing to watch again and again. It had the correct mix of emotion and Information and it work Incredibly Well.

This sounds great. I'd never even heard of the film until your review, but I'll do some research into it now. What was your favourite part of the film Luke?
