The Bicycle

Review of Documentary The Bicycle.

The Bicycle is a 90 minute documentary that explores the sport of cycling and its impact on our current society. The film's director, Michael B.Clifford is a keen cyclist so the film is made by those who are deeply interested and passionate about the subject matter and this comes across in the detail and knowledge that the film possesses. The use of interviews by Sir Dave Brailsford, Gary Fisher, Chris Boardman, Ned Boulting, Sir Chris Hoy, Tracy Moseley, Mike Burrows provides a very educational yet interesting grounding of the history, sport and design of the bicycle. The documentary cleverly mixes live action with animation to create a well-rounded educational and fun to watch film.

" The bicycle has been central in my life even to the point where now i have my own brand of bikes . I am excited to see a documentary about the bicycle's history and impact in Britain."
Sir Chris Hoy 6 x Olympic Champion ( Hoy Bikes )
