The lion the witch and the wardrobe was an amazing play I went to see with my youth club, I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure and fantasy stories.

Review:

The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe is a theatre proformance I went to see with my youth club.

10 minutes before the play started there was a man playing the piano. It was very nice, although I couldn't hear it very well.

Me and my youth club were sat up very high. I found the theatre very fancy.

When the play started, I got surprised by how loud the actors were.

There wern't a lot of props, but the few they had were really detailed.

What confused me slightly was that some of the actors were playing animals, which I didn't realise until over half way through the play.

The actors remembered their lines very well, and they're gestures and tone of voice made me feel entranced.

The stage fighting was not very good, and it felt like they hadnt focused on it very well.

I loved the special effects and lighting as it truly made it feel magical.

I really liked that everyone was in sync with all of their lines and movements, even when the lights dimmed in order for them to clear the stage it still kept me watching, eager to see what happened next!

I will say that the first half of the play was really exiting, but after the interval I didn't feel as exited.

There were some really good puppets though, like there was a fluffy cat puppet, and the person moving the puppet was very good at making it move very cat-like, and also they were very good at making cat noises.

Then lion Aslan looked really cool and big apart from the back legs that were human and were too close to the front ones. The costumes were well designed but simple.

I liked that there were thin wire attached to the actors costumes so they could fly all around the stage.
