A slice of The Life of Pi. A review of a magical evening.

A synopsis of the story and magical performance of LIFE OF PI performed at Cheltenham Theatre.

A slice of The Life of Pi. A review of a magical evening.

Highly recommend Life of Pi.

Costumes and music 🎵 were incredible.

Acting was captivating.

The atmosphere in the theatre was quiet, as we were all engrossed from beginning to end.

The lighting created during the storm was frightening as was the music.

A live orchestra couldn't have added anymore to the performance.

The costume looked authentically old.

Pi had a simple costume, his movements weren't restricted. Pl lept like a wild animal.

Engaging from beginning to end!

After deciding to sell their zoo in India and move to Canada, Santosh and Gita Patel board a freighter with their Pi, his sister and a few remaining animals. Tragedy strikes when a terrible storm sinks the ship, leaving the Patels' teenage son, Pi as the only human survivor. However, Pi is not alone; a fearsome Bengal tiger has also found refuge aboard the lifeboat. As days turn into weeks and weeks drag into months, Pi and the tiger must learn to trust each other if both are to survive.
