On Monday 1 st July, I was invited to an evening podcast workshop being held at Hope Sounds with Andy Lowe at his studio venue based in Pimley Barns, Shrewsbury.
It was such a great experience, as Andy who ran the session is a musician who can play the guitar, piano, saxophone along with going on the radio and creating songs. Andy had a miniature Lego guitar and speaker model which was cool. Plus, he had a bookshelf of records, which was a vast collection of different music themes. I learnt so much at the workshop such as how to record an interview with someone, useful and valuable recording equipment, how to connect to a variety of speakers and what different souds they generate, and we also got to work on a sound track on Andy’s computer as well. Overall, I really enjoyed going to the podcast and audio recording session as I had a great experience and learnt lots, I would recommend this workshop to others.
