I went to see the live show Spirited Away at the London Coliseum.
The show was beautiful, well performed and filled with intentional skits that weren’t in the movie, like how Kamaji the boiler man did a dance and made a heart with his hand, which made the audience laugh.
Some things I noticed about the behind the scene thoughts and details that made it so much better…
- Different puppets for Haku, to show different distance perspectives when in his dragon form.
- The amazing stage that somehow portrayed most of the scenes in the movie, and how it turned and seamlessly changed throughout the duration of the show.
